Belva Priddy, 78, of Elizabethtown, went to be with her Heavenly Father and her parents on Thursday, May 22, 2014, at Hardin Memorial Hospital.
She was a native of Hart County and a seamstress at E'town Sportswear for 39 years. She was a member of Valley Creek Baptist Church and a volunteer for Hardin Memorial Hospital Auxiliary.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James Ragland and Hazel Gaddie Ragland; a grandson, Stephen Michael Hart; a brother, Hershel Ragland; and a sister, Jean Reynolds.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Harold Priddy; four children, Judy Hart, Karen (Morris "Peanut") Killensworth, Wesley (Sheree) Priddy and Connie (Carl) Bee, all of Elizabethtown; a brother, Glenn Ragland of Bonnieville; five sisters, Joyce Mann of Louisville, Nadine Gibbs of Elizabethtown and Mary Carroll, Debbie DeVore and Patsy Burba, all of Bonnieville; 15 grandchildren, Kim, Crystal, Mandy, Tyler, Tim, Marc, Tracie, Carla, Cathy, Ben, Lauren, Dawn, Andrew, Aaron and Alec; and 19 great-grandchildren.
The funeral is at 1 p.m. Saturday at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown with the Rev. Scott Kerr officiating. Burial follows in Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens.
Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. today and continues at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
