Cheryl Leigh Sosh, 65, of Custer, died Friday, May 2, 2014, at Hardin Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Louisville on Nov. 20, 1948, the daughter of the late James Delmer and Hazel Pauline Lyons Howard. She was a member of First Church of God in Custer. Cheryl was a homemaker who cherished her family and the times they spent together. She was full of fun and laughter.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Randell Sosh.
Cheryl is survived by three children, Steven Sosh and his wife, Loretta, of Elizabethtown, Tammy Sewell and her husband, Jeromy, and Joseph Sosh and his wife Magan, all of Leitchfield; three grandchildren, Jordan and Jessica Sosh and Haylee Snyder; three brothers, James Howard and his wife, Mavis, of Constantine, Marvin Howard and his wife, Terry, of Custer and Richard Howard and his wife, Jackie, of Elizabethtown; four sisters, Joyce Helm and her husband, Kenny, of Decatur, Illinois, Doris Austin of Boody, Illinois, Barbara Hack of Custer and Martha Kay Howard of Custer.
The funeral was May 6 at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home in Hardinsburg with the Rev. James Cobb officiating. Burial was in Custer Cemetery.
