Clifford Thomas Higdon, 89, of Leitchfield, died Sunday, Dec. 9, 2012, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville.
He was born Oct. 8, 1923. He retired from the Ken-tucky Highway Department as a heavy equipment operator and was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dave and Josie Hill Higdon.
Survivors include his wife, Margie Higdon of Leitchfield; four sons, Cecil Higdon (Debbie) of Mount Washington, James Higdon and Ralph Higdon (Susan) all of Leitchfield and Charlie Higdon (Tracey) of Clarkson; a brother, Andy Higdon of Louisville; a sister, Mary Bell Davis of Florida; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
The funeral is at 11 a.m. CST Thursday, Dec. 13, at St. Anthony Catholic Church with the Rev. Brian Johnson officiating. Burial follows in St. Anthony Cemetery.
Visitation is from 2 to 8 p.m. CST Wednesday and continues at 8 a.m. CST Thursday at Rogers-Oller Funeral Home in Clarkson. A prayer service is at 6 p.m. CST Wednesday at the funeral home.
