Doris L. Priddy

Doris L. Priddy, 86, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones Thursday, July 25, 2013.

She was born Feb. 18, 1927, to Beulah and John Berry in Green County. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother and sister who devoted her life to caring for and loving her family. She was a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harris Priddy; two sons, Michael and Kevin Priddy; her mother and father; two grandchildren, Rhonie and Jason Priddy; one brother, Claywood Berry; and one sister, Del Shartzer.

Left to cherish her memory are eight children, Phylis Logsdon (Duvall), Ronald Priddy, Diane Clifford, Sandy Escher, Vicki Buckles (Rick), Dennis Priddy, Beverly Manning and Larry Priddy; 16 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Judy Hawkins and Janice Harris.

The funeral is at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 30, at Nelson-Edelen-Bennett Funeral Home in Radcliff with Pastor Brett Baker officiating. Burial follows in North Hardin Memorial Gardens.

Visitation is from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday and continues at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
