Gary Wayne Bell, 56, of Elizabethtown, died Thursday, Dec. 6, 2012, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville.
He was a native of Honolulu, Hawaii, served in the U.S. Army
and was a member of First Christian Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wallace Bell Sr. and Ursula Gartner Bell.
Survivors include his wife, Kimberly Huggins Bell; a daughter, Cassidy Bell of Elizabethtown; two brothers, Wallace Bell Jr. of Radcliff and Richard (Ute) Bell of Elizabethtown; a sister, Kaye Bell of Radcliff; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Bertha and Tom Gray of Elizabethtown; two brothers-in-law, Timothy Huggins of Madisonville and Daniel Huggins of Elizabethtown; a niece, Kimberly Smith of Elizabethtown; a nephew, Jackson Smith of Elizabethtown; the Arkenberg family; the Kelly Miller family; and several friends.
The funeral is at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 11, at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown with Brother Chris Kiger officiating. Burial follows in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery-Central in Radcliff.
Visitation is 2 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the First Christian Church building fund.
