Glenford H. Logsdon Sr., 89, of Elizabethtown, passed away Monday, Dec. 31, 2012.
A native of Hardin County, he retired after 36 years from the Coca-Cola Company as a technician. He was a World War II
Navy veteran, member of American Legion Post No. 113 and an avid fisherman.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Juanita Mae Meredith Logsdon; his parents, Dewey and Margaret Jones Logsdon; and a brother, Bennie A. Logsdon.
Survivors include four children, Wayne (Mildred) Logsdon, Ronald (Claudette) Logsdon, Glen (Geneva) Logsdon Jr. and Connie Sue Logsdon; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The funeral is at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 4, in the chapel of Dixon-Atwood & Trowbridge Funeral Home in Elizabethtown. Burial, with military honors, follows in Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday and continues at 9 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
