Harley Thomas "H.T." Priddy

Harley Thomas "H.T." Priddy, 79, of Upton, passed away Thursday, April 17, 2014, at his residence.

He was born in Hardin County to Elbert and Aileen Walls Priddy. He was a farmer and jack-of-all-trades. He loved helping other people. He was a long-time member of Zion United Methodist Church, where he played the piano for several years. He was a member of Upton Masonic Lodge No. 749 F&AM for 57 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother-in-law, Bill Sullivan.

He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years in July, Marie Kelly Priddy of Upton; two daughters, Pat (James) Wilbanks of Elizabethtown and Pam (Kenny) Copelin of Upton; a sister, Jean Sullivan of Elizabethtown; five grandchildren, Gunner (Debbie) Brackett of Leitchfield, Matthew (Pam) Brackett and Mark Brackett, both of Elizabethtown, Elizabeth Copelin of Fort Worth, Texas, and Ginny (Scott) McCammon of Charlestown, Ind.; and six great-grandchildren, Kevin, Jay, Kaitlyn, Andrew, Madison and Taylor.

The funeral is at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 19, at Manakee Funeral Home in Upton. Burial follows in Upton Cemetery.

Visitation is from 2 to 8 p.m. today and continues from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Manakee Funeral Home in Upton. A Masonic service is at 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

The family requests memorial contributions be given to Zion United Methodist Church of Sonora or Hosparus of Central Kentucky.
