Henry Paul "Bill" Duncan, 69, of Radcliff, passed away Sunday, Feb. 23, 2014, at his residence.
Mr. Duncan was retired from the U.S. Army and a veteran of the Vietnam War. His memberships included Disabled American Veterans, American Legion and AUSA.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roscoe and Martha Duncan; and two brothers, Walter Dun-can and Harold Duncan.
Survivors include his wife, Peggy Duncan of Radcliff; four daughters, Sheila Piantanida and her husband, Gary, of Radcliff, Debbie Goodin and Lilly Kosikas, both of Elizabethtown, and Julie Duncan of Mayfield, Ohio; one son, Harold Thacker Jr. and his wife, Donna, of Radcliff; four grandchildren; three sisters, Jean Long and Anna Pullen, both of Florida, and Chrissy of California; and one brother, Eddie Duncan of Tennessee.
Mr. Duncan's funeral is at 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 28, in the chapel of Coffey & Chism Funeral Home in Vine Grove. Burial, with military honors, follows in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery-Central in Radcliff.
Visitation is from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday and continues at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.

I only got to know you when apothecare pharmacy opened in radcliff in jan'12~~i appreciated your patriotism~~I loved your life stories you shared ~~I could see in your eyes how much you loved your family when you spoke of them....especially sweet Ms Peggy~~I will always remember you Mr Duncan~~rest in peace

Very sorry to hear this news about a fellow warrior, soldier, and friend. May he rest in eternal peace and May solace be granted to his family and loved ones. Bill - thank for your service and positive example and sacrifice in this life.
