James Edwin "Jimmy" Mattingly, 76, of New Hope, died Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville.
Survivors include his wife, Inez Donahue Mattingly; one daughter, Sheila Stein; one son, Joe Mattingly; four stepsons, Tommy Donahue, Jeff Donahue, Eddie Donahue and Kenny Donahue; and four stepdaughters, Sherri Matherly, Jan St. Clair, Laura Evans and Pam Wolf.
A Mass of Christian burial is at 11 a.m. Saturday at Saint Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in New Hope. Interment follows in the church cemetery.
Visitation is from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday at Mattingly Funeral Home in Loretto. A prayer service is at 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
