James Russell White, 88, of Elizabethtown, went to be with his Lord, Thursday, Oct. 11, 2012, surrounded by his family at his granddaughter Erica and Sylvester Cole's Home.
He was a native of Kokomo, Ind.; a retired architectural engineer and a member of The Rock Church.
He will be joining his beloved wife of 50 years, Thelma Elizabeth Threlkeld White; his parents, Carl and Elsie Smith White; a grandson; and a great-grandson.
He leaves behind two sons, Mike (Ann) White of Kokomo, Ind., and Mark (Thoma) White of Monti-cello, Ind.; three daughters, Vicki Peters of Linden, Ind., Pamela (Terry) Heath of Radcliff and Cathy McClain of Swayzee, Ind.; a brother, Bob White of Kokomo; two sisters, Dean Hovis of Kokomo and Wanita Cox of Greentown, Ind.; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and four stepgrandchildren.
The funeral is at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown with Pastor James Cole officiating. Burial follows Monday in Kokomo.
Visitation is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
