John David Voltz, 53, of Hodgenville, was born Dec. 18, 1960, to the late Earl David and Sarah Elaine Voltz, and passed away Saturday, March 8, 2014, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown.
He also was preceded in death by two brothers, Jeffrey Alan Voltz and Earl Voltz; and a sister, Barbara Voltz.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Cynthia Marie Voltz; a daughter, Larinda Beth (Marshall) DeSpain of Hodgenville; a son, Brandon Lamor (Sara) Voltz of Elizabethtown; three grandchildren, Destiny Lynn, Aleah MaKay and Sawyer Reece DeSpain; four sisters, Sally (Gary) Bourgeault of Hodgenville, Teresa (John) Bosio of Franklin, Tenn., Kim (Roy) Handy of Fairgrove, Mo., and Hope (Jim) Skripsky of Meadowlands, Minn.; and two brothers, Earl D. (Donna) Voltz of Cecilia and Thomas Voltz of Hodgenville.
The funeral is at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 12, at Full Gospel Assembly Church in Hodgenville with the Revs. Richard Binkley and Evan Binkley officiating.
Visitation is from 3 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and continues from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville.
