Julia Catherine Atcher

Julia Catherine Atcher, 87, of Radcliff, passed away Friday, May 16, 2014, at North Hardin Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Mrs. Atcher was a member of St. Christopher Catholic Church in Radcliff.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Marion Lee Atcher; parents, Zachary and Georgia Higdon; a sister, Mary Hoover; and two brothers, Ernest D. Higdon and Doug Higdon.

Survivors include two sons, Melvin Atcher and his wife, Debbie, of Radcliff, and Bruce Atcher and his wife, Andrea, of Elizabethtown; four grandsons, Ben, Adam and his wife, Ashley, and Brett and his wife, Trisha, Todd; two granddaughters, Leslie and her husband, Cantee, and Lisa and her husband, Tyler; 10 great grandchildren, Ali, Miki, Layni, Chase, Caroline, Courtney Zachary, Tate, Landon, and Chase; and a great grandson, Mason, expected in August; five sisters, Betty Grant, Helen Grant, Jackie Milliner, Candas Milliner and Wilma Pierce; and two brothers, Paul Higdon and Junie Higdon.

Mrs. Atcher's funeral is at 11 a.m. Monday, May 19, 2014, at St. Christopher Catholic Church in Radcliff with Rev. Dennis Cousens officiating. Burial follows in North Hardin Memorial Gardens in Radcliff

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m today at Coffey and Chism Funeral Home and continues at 9 a.m. Monday.
