Louis Edward Langford, 70, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2013, at his son's home with his family at his side.
He was a retired plant manager with Pepsi for 43 years, a member of the Kiwanis Club of Lebanon and a member of the National Guard.
Louis is preceded in death by his wife, Darlene Langford; a sister-in-law, Kaye Langford; and a brother-in-law, Lee Cornelius.
He is survived by three children, Tommy Langford, Shelly Gambrell (Claude) and Brad Langford (Meg); five siblings, Bill Langford (Vonda), Ronnie Langford, Ann Loveless (Laton), Mickey Ivy (Clay) and Nancy Cornelius; nine grandchildren, Jessica Taylor (Moose), Gwen Moses (Tom), Ben Choate (Kris), Zak Gambrell, Johnna Langford, Rachel Langford, Zane Gambrell, Conner Langford and Annslee Langford; six great-grandchildren, Mary, Emily and Jackson Taylor and Jayden, Joseph and Joselyn Clark-Choate; a special caregiver, Linda Davis; and many other extended family and friends.
A celebration of Louis' life is at 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 11, in the chapel of Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville. Entombment follows at Resthaven Memorial Park Mausoleum.
Visitation is from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday and continues at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
