Noble Eugene Horn

Noble Eugene Horn, 89, of Eastview, passed away Sunday, Nov. 18, 2012, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown.

He was a native of Sweetwater, Tenn. Mr. Horn attended White Mills Baptist Church and Summit United Methodist Church. He was a World War II veteran and worked as a truck driver at Fort Knox.

Eugene was preceded in death by his parents, William and Mary (Hagood) Horn; his wife, Louise Frances Miller Horn; and several brothers and sisters.

He is survived by one daughter, Connie Horn of Eastview; three sisters, Orene Kidd of Stanford and Mary Ann Woolum and Dorothy Yauch, both of Ohio.

The funeral is at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 24, at White Mills Baptist Church in White Mills with the Revs. Bruce Underhill and Rose Marie Jones officiating. Burial follows in Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens.

Visitation is from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and continues from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Manakee Funeral Home in Elizabethtown.
