Phyllis Ann Carby McGrew, 69, of Clarkson, died Sunday, Dec. 9, 2012, at her residence.
She was born Oct. 5, 1943. She was a loving wife, devoted mother and a member of Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her father, Maurice Carby; and two brothers, Frankie and Barry Carby.
Survivors include her husband, Justin L. McGrew of Clarkson; two daughters, Leann Marsh (Eric) of Elizabethtown and Latisha Schmitt (Jerry) of Louisville; her mother, Dora Carby of Elizabethtown; a sister, Beverly Knight (Donald) of Upton; three grand-children, Jacob Marsh, Elliott Schmitt and Nolan Schmitt; and an honorary granddaughter, Emily Green.
The funeral is at 11 a.m. CST Wednesday, Dec. 12, at Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church with Broth-ers Philip Knight and Carlon Fields officiating. Burial follows in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
Visitation is from 1 to 8 p.m. CST Tuesday at Rogers-Oller Funeral Home in Clarkson and continues at 9 a.m. CST Wednesday at the church.
