Rayon "Boots" Stinnett

Rayon "Boots" Stinnett, 84, of Shepherdsville, formerly of Hodgenville, passed away Wednesday, June 26, 2013, at Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Jeffersontown.

He was retired from Caldwell Tank Company in Louisville.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lester Sterling and Ada Lee Marcum Stinnett; and his identical twin brother, Leon Stinnett.

He is survived by a son, Mickey Stinnett of Hodgenville; a sister-in-law, Geneva Stinnett of Louisville; a niece, Darline Deering of Louisville; two nephews, Mark (Dana) Stinnett and Greg (Kelly) Stinnett, all of Louisville; a great-niece, Valerie King of Louisville; and a great-nephew, Matthew Stinnett of Indiana.

The funeral is at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 29, at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with the Rev. Roger Pepper officiating. Burial follows in P. Milby Cemetery in Summersville.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday and continues at 9 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
