Jess was a great guy and I will miss him. We were at UK Engineering School at the same time in the 1960's. I enjoyed going with him on a few river trips out west. He was an inspiration to me!

I was very saddened to hear of the great loss of Mr. Scott. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to his family and friends. He without a doubt, has touched many with his informative history to the genealogy world, particular in relation to Meade County and its founding families via his wonderful www.stithvalley.com website. Dear Frances, Brian, Alan, and Carol,
Our hearts are heavy with this loss. Mr Scott was a great friend to us the years we lived on the farm and continued to be welcoming even after we left. We will miss him as we still drive by out there on occasion and would sometimes see him working and stop to say hello.
We're so sorry for your loss, he will be sadly missed.
