Shirley Ann Williams, 75, of White Mills, passed away Friday, April 18, 2014, at her home.
She was preceded in death by her son, David Richard Williams; parents William and Julia Mae (Clifford) Parrett; three brothers, Tommy Parrett, Bobby Parrett and his wife, Betty, and LeeRoy Parrett; and two sisters, Ruth Pollock and her husband, Jack, and Hazel Helm.
Shirley worked and retired as an instructors' assistant for the Hardin County Board of Education.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Bobby Williams of White Mills; a son, Mark Scott Williams of Portland, Ore.; a daughter, Tracy (Joe) Imel of Bowling Green; a grandson, Zachary Imel of Bowling Green; two brothers, Billy (Bertha) Parrett of Elizabethtown and Bennie (Patty) Parrett of Elizabethtown; three sisters, Ethel (Garland) Thomas of Elizabethtown, Judy (Jim) Harlan of Shepardsville and Ella (Charlie) Garner of Rineyville; a brother-in-law, Darnell Helm; two sisters-in-law, Rosie Parrett and Virginia Parrett; a surrogate son, Ron Baker; and caregiver Melissa Waddell of Eastview.
The funeral is at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 22, 2014, at Manakee Funeral Home in Elizabethtown with Rev. Jimmy Fulkerson officiating. Burial follows in White Mills Community Cemetery.
Visitation is from 3 to 8 p.m. Monday and from 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
