Teresa Jo Thompson

Teresa Jo Thompson, 43, of New Hope, died Sunday, Nov. 18, 2012, due to an auto accident near New Hope.
She was born July 16, 1969, in Dwight, Ill. She was an employee of the Loretto Motherhouse and a volunteer for the New Hope Food Bank and Community Center.
Preceding her in death are her parents, Martin L. Wilkerson and Rosie Lee Bush Campbell.
Survivors include her daughter, Courtney Cecil of New Hope; her special friend, Allen Mattingly of New Hope; two sisters, Lesa Leasor (Jim) of Elizabethtown and Vicki Graham (Popeye) of Hodgenville; one brother, David Wilkerson (Shirley) of New Hope; two half brothers, Phillip Wilkerson (Tessa) of Buffalo and Johnny Campbell of Toledo, Ill.; her stepfather, John Campbell of Georgia; her step-grandmother, Lottie Bush of Hodgenville' other extended family members include Carmel and Bernard Cecil of New Hope, Joanie Shoffner of New Haven, Francie and Chuck Cecil of Loretto, Sandy and Gary Riley of New Haven, Wendy, Mike, Jill, Jeremy, Wyatt, Kade, Olivia, Waylon and Trenton.
A Mass of Christian Burial is at 10 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012, at Saint Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, New Hope, followed by cremation. The Rev. Ken Fortener is the celebrant.
Visitation is from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., today at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto, where the Sisters of Loretto will hold a prayer service at 6 p.m.
