Dolores Behen Obituary

Dolores Nelson Behen, 89, of Elizabethtown died Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2015, at Hardin Memorial Hospital.

She was a native of Cloverport, a homemaker and proprietor of Fountain-Lion Galleries.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dennie and Helen Catherine Curry Nelson.

Survivors include her husband of 68 years, John Plank Behen; son, John Nelson Behen (Linda Diedrichs) of Cincinnati, Ohio; a daughter, Emily Behen Gayhart (Philip) of Louisville; three grandchildren, John Ira Behen, Kate Gayhart and Tom Gayhart; and a great-granddaughter, Caroline Gayhart.

A private service will be held Saturday. Burial follows in Cloverport Cemetery in Breckinridge County.

Brown Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
