David L. Logsdon, 79, of Elizabethtown, died Sunday, July 20, 2014, at Kensington Center Nursing Home in Elizabethtown.

He was a native of Hardin County, served as the Hardin County Court Clerk for nearly 30 years; and was a very active member of Memorial United Methodist Church in Elizabethtown.
He was a former member and past president of the Elizabethtown Rotary Club and a member of Morrison Lodge No. 76, F&AM; and Kosair Shrine Club for 56 years.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Alberta Louise Allen Logsdon; and parents, T. Brown and Lorraine Lawrence Logsdon.
He is survived by his daughter, Donna Vaugham of Inglis, Florida; two sons, David L. (Kristie) Logsdon II of Elizabethtown and Brett A. Logsdon of Clarksville, Tennessee; three brothers, Marvin L. Logsdon, Dr. Marion T. (Alma) Logsdon, all of Radcliff and Robert (Imogene) Logsdon of Bowling Green; and eight grandchildren.
The funeral is at 1 p.m. Friday at Memorial United Methodist Church with the Rev. Michael Gibbons officiating. Burial follows in North Hardin Memorial Gardens in Radcliff.
Visitation is from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown.
