Johnny Lenzy Davis Sr., 82, of Radcliff, died Monday, Nov. 25, 2013, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown.

Master Sgt. Davis retired from the U.S. Army and U.S. Postal Service. He served in Vietnam, Germany and Korea, earning Purple Heart and Bronze Star medals.
He was preceded in death by a son, Richard Davis; his parents, Spencer and Leona Davis; two brothers; and two sisters.
He is survived by his wife, Beatrice Davis of Radcliff; two sons, Jerry J. Davis of Radcliff and Johnny L. Davis Jr. of Louisville; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
The funeral is at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 30, at Nelson-Edelen-Bennett Funeral Home in Radcliff with the Rev. Josh Nagel officiating. Burial, with military honors, follows in North Hardin Memorial Gardens in Radcliff.
Visitation begins at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
