Shelah B. "Buck" Golden, 82, of Radcliff, passed away Monday, Oct. 21, 2013, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown.

Mr. Golden was retired from the U.S. Army with 28 ½ years of service. He was a veteran of the Korean and Vietnam wars and retired from civil service at Fort Knox.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Golden.
Survivors include three children, Bruce Golden and his wife, Julia, David Golden and Sheila Richardson and her husband, Jeffrey, all of Radcliff; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A memorial service for Mr. Golden is at noon Thursday, Oct. 24, in the chapel of Coffey & Chism Funeral Home in Vine Grove. Burial, with military honors, follows in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery-Central in Radcliff.
Visitation begins at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
