Alexis Ann Burnett Wathen, 59, of London, Kentucky, died Monday, June 9, 2014, at University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky.

Alexis was an administrative assistant and a member of St. William Catholic Church in London.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Guy and Jane Burnett; and a grandchild, Dakota Blake Wathen.
Survivors include her husband, Anthony Wathen of London; three daughters, Lynn Wemes of London, Linda (Mark) Mitchell of Flaherty and Brenda (Dean) Wilson of Elizabethtown; three sisters, Rose Mary Fackler of Louisville, Diana (Gordon) Jewett of Brandenburg and Becky (Roy) Eckert of Tullahoma, Tennessee; four brothers, Steven (Gail) Burnett of Vine Grove; Ronnie (Linda) Burnett of Vine Grove, David (Diane) Burnett of Brandenburg and Mark (Lisa) Burnett of Louisville; six grandchildren, Chelsea and Logan Wemes, Jonathan and Alex Mitchell and Shelby and Christopher Maggard; and many nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
A Mass of Christian burial is at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church in Flaherty with the Rev. Patrick Stewart officiating. Burial follows in the church cemetery.
Visitation is from 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and continues at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Coffey & Chism Funeral Home in Vine Grove. A prayer service led by Deacon Mickey Vessels will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
