Allene Jernigan Andrews, 88, of Elizabethtown, died Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2012, in Radcliff.
She was a native of Hardin County and a member of Nazarene Church in Elizabethtown and ran a daycare in her home.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jewel Jernigan; two sons, Larry Jernigan and Jeffrey Jernigan; a grandson, Marty Jernigan; and her parents, William and Rose Sadler Daugherty.
She is survived by her daughters, Donna (Steve Mueller) Wittman and Kelly (Junior) Andrews, both of Elizabethtown; a sister, Edith Michael of Tacoma, Wash.; seven grandchildren, Tracy Thompson, Rebecca Wittman, Doug Wittman, Luke Andrews, Jeffrey Andrews, Kim Skaggs and Larry Jernigan Jr.; 11 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at a later date.
Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown is in charge of arrangements.
