Anna "Annie Pearl" Hatfield, 87, of Upton, passed away Thursday, July 3, 2014, at Kensington Center in Elizabethtown.

The Hart County native was the daughter of the late John Wease and Hattie Jenkins Wease. Annie Pearl was the wife of the late William "Bill" Hatfield Jr., a housewife and a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Hatfield; four brothers, Marcus, Brice, Ward and Norman Wease; and four sisters, Viola Hornback, Mable Miller, Ellaree Hornback and Hazel Wease.

She is survived by a daughter, Shirley Priddy and her husband, Jr., of Upton; three grandchildren, Rebecca Wease and her husband, Tommy Joe, Teresa Wease and Jason Priddy; eight great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and a brother, Walter "Tommy" Wease of Upton.

The funeral for Anna "Annie Pearl" Hatfield is at 4 p.m. today at Stoney Point Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
