Arthur Richard Fisher, 81, of Radcliff, died Thursday, Sept. 27, 2012, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown.
He was a sergeant first class who retired from the U.S. Army and was a veteran of Korea and Vietnam. His memberships included the Military Order of Purple Hearts; Disabled American Veterans Chapter 156; Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 10281; Lions Club in Radcliff; St. Christopher Catholic Church; Knights of Columbus, St. Christopher; and old St. Patrick Council. He also retired from civil service at Fort Knox.
He is survived by his wife, Yong Sun Fisher of Radcliff; a sister, Mary Ann Santelli of Trenton, N.J.; a nephew, Michael Paul Santelli of Trenton, N.J.; a great-nephew, Paul Michael Santelli of Trenton, N.J.; and a niece, Ha Ki Ju of Seoul, Korea.
The Mass of Christian Burial is 11 a.m. Monday at St. Christopher Catholic Church in Radcliff with the Rev. Dennis L. Cousens officiating. Burial with military honors follows in North Hardin Memorial Gardens in Radcliff.
Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday and continue at 9 a.m. Monday at Nelson-Edelen-Bennett Funeral Home in Radcliff.
