Bernard Rock, 77, of Elizabethtown, died Saturday, Dec. 28, 2013, at Hardin Memorial Hospital.

He was a native of LaRue County, a 1954 graduate of Hodgenville High School and a member of Franklin Crossroads Baptist Church. He was known as "B.R. Rock" at the flea market.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John Ross and Ree Akins Rock; and two great-granddaughters, Harper and Reese Leasor.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Geraldine Hickok Rock; a daughter, Becky (Steve) Harrell of Elizabethtown; a son, Jim (Maggie) Rock of Cecilia; three grandchildren, Kyle Harrell of Elizabethtown, Tonya (Jarrett) Leasor and Jessica (Bradley) Miller, all of Glendale; three great-grandchildren, Hunter Rock, Payton Miller and Briley Harrell.
The funeral is at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Brown Funeral Home with the Rev. Ron Davis officiating. Burial follows in Red Hill Cemetery in Hodgenville.
Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and continues after 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
