Betty Thomas Pendleton Waddell, 75, of Sonora, passed away Saturday, Dec. 28, 2013, at her residence.

She was a member of Sonora Baptist Church and several historical societies in the area. Betty retired from civil service at Fort Knox and worked for several years at The Book Rack in Elizabethtown.
She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Elmer Pendleton, and a sister, Doris Wilson.
She is survived by three sons, Clifford Ray Taylor, Bobby (Tammy) Henderson and Steven (Usanee) Henderson; a daughter, Tracy Henderson Raymer; three sisters, Shirley Mayes, Patty (Mo) McMahan and Peggy Sullivan; two brothers, Charles (Sheila) Pendleton and David (Pam) Pendleton; 21 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
The funeral is at 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 2, 2013, at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with the Rev. Freddy Riggs officiating. Burial follows in South Fork Church Cemetery.
Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and continues after 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
