Catherine Marguerite Hinton Sanders, 89, of Shepherdsville, entered eternal life Thursday, July 11, 2013, at North Hardin Health and Rehabilitation Center.

The former Catherine Marguerite Hinton was born July 21, 1923, in Colesburg. Catherine was a member of St. Aloysius Church of Shepherdsville. She was a retired seamstress for Shouley's Upholstery and Henderson Hardy Furniture Store of Shepherdsville.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Obie Hinton and Mary Bridgette Luckett Hinton; her husband, William P. Sanders (Sonny); and her granddaughter, Tracy Lynn Heady.

She is survived by two sons, Joseph Marshall Heady Jr. and William Hinton Sanders (Terri); one daughter, Janet Karen Kerman (Jeff); eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; four siblings, Dora Shipley, Mary Johnson, Charles Hinton and Bill Hinton; and Sandy Dockery who helped take care of her.

The funeral is at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 13, at St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Shepherdsville with burial in St. Clair Cemetery.

Visitation is from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday at Hardy-Close Funeral Home in Shepherdsville.
