Chris L. Thomas, 53, of Bowling Green, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2013, at his residence.

Chris loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and canoeing. He was a 1977 graduate of West Hardin High School, an avid Louisville Cardinal fan, the general manager of Wild Hawgs in Bowling Green and was employed at Fort Knox Ammunition Supply Point.
He is survived by his father and stepmother, E. Ray and Kathleen Thomas of Eastview; his mother, Electia (Staples) Glass of Colorado; the love of his life, Kristy Davis Thomas of Elizabethtown; a daughter, Brandi Thomas of Elizabethtown; a brother, Carl (Patty) Thomas of McAlester, Okla.; a sister, Babette (Dwight) Stiles of Cecilia; two stepbrothers, Gary Herberger of Jacksonville, Fla., and Denny Glass of Fort Lupon, Colo.; two stepsisters, Beth Funk of Louisville and Melissa (Mike) Adams of Mount Washington; and a granddaughter, Ciarra Nicole Tucker of Sonora.
The funeral is at 4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 27, at Manakee Funeral Home in Elizabethtown with the Revs. John Clark and Ernest Smothers officiating.
Visitation is from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
