Cornelia "Nellie" Barbara Schlaefer Fletcher, 88, of Vine Grove, went to be with her Lord on Monday, Nov. 26, 2012, at Hardin Memorial Hospital.

She was a native of Katzenbach, Germany and a devout Catholic. She was a very loving and kind person who loved her family deeply.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Everett Paul Fletcher; her parents, Otto and Elisabeth M. Schlaefer; a brother, Otto Schlaefer; a sister, Liesel Januszis; and a granddaughter, Cornelia McGee.
She is survived by a loving son, Michael (Jane) Fletcher; two loving daughters, Judith (Scott) McGee and Debbra (Jerry) Phillips; one brother, Karl Schlae-fer of Germany; three sisters, Lindruth Wengert of Germany, Hilda Emmert of Switzerland and Elfrida Osborne of Ohio; five grandchildren, Jimmy (Bethany) Villarreal, Jerry M. (Donna) Phillips, Jason (Tara) Phillips, Andraya (Casey) Clark and Barbara (Spencer) Tipton; seven great-grandchildren, Taylor, Morgan, Matthew, Kailynn, Heidi, Jaxson and Aaron; three nephews, Hubert, Sammy and Dean; three nieces, Cornelia, Andrea and Sharon; several great-nephews and great-nieces; three sisters-in-law, Bea Croghan, Imogene Fletcher and Hanalore Schlaefer; and a brother-in-law, Raymond Croghan.
A Mass of Christian burial is at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 3, at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church in Flaherty with the Rev. Kevin J. Bryan officiating. Burial follows in North Hardin Memorial Gardens in Radcliff.
Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, at Nelson-Edelen-Bennett Funeral Home in Radcliff. A prayer service is at 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
