Darrell Raymond Brown, 56, of Vine Grove, died Monday, Aug. 6, 2012, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown.
He was a member of St. Brigid Catholic Church in Vine Grove.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul Jefferson and Dorothy Brown; and a brother-in-law, Jack Utley.
He is survived by one daughter, Nicole Brown of Elizabethtown; four sisters and two brothers-in-law, Charlotte Utley and Polly and Ralph Prather, all of Vine Grove, Brenda Clark of Mount Washington and Janet and Bill Cleveland of Radcliff; two brothers and sisters-in-law, David and Shirley Brown of Mount Washington and Jeffrey and Diana Brown of Radcliff; and his faithful companion, Murphy.
A Mass of Christian burial is at noon Saturday, Aug. 11, at St. Brigid Catholic Church with the Rev. Daniel L. Lincoln officiating. Burial follows in St. Brigid Cemetery.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday and continues at 9 a.m. Saturday at Nelson-Edelen-Bennett Funeral Home in Vine Grove.
There will be a prayer service at 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
