David Guajardo, 54, of Radcliff, passed away Thursday, June 14, 2012, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown.
Sgt. 1st Class David Guajardo was retired from the U.S. Army and was an avid golfer. His memberships include Lindsey Golf Course at Fort Knox, V.F.W. Post 10281 in Vine Grove, and American Legion Post 113 in Elizabethtown.
He was preceded in death by his father, Benito Guajardo, and two sisters, Josie Chavez and Sophie Silvia.
Survivors include his wife, Cynthia Guajardo of Radcliff; one son, Thomas Guajardo of Temple, Texas; three daughters, Angel Osipovich of Eugene, Ore., and Sarah Guajardo and Felicia Guajardo, both of Radcliff; his mother, Estella Guajardo of Radcliff; one brother, Benito Guajardo; four sisters, Rosie Guajardo, Yolanda Guajardo, Margie Gaujardo, Mona Guajardo; and five grandchildren.
The funeral for Mr. Guajardo is at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the chapel of Coffey & Chism Funeral Home in Vine Grove. Burial with military honors follows in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery-Central in Radcliff.
Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday and after noon Tuesday at Coffey & Chism Funeral Home.
