David William Fairfax, 56, of New Haven, formerly of Bardstown, passed away Thursday, Nov. 14, 2013, at his home.

He was born Aug. 1, 1957, in Louisville, the son of the late William Marvin and Rose Mary Logsdon Fairfax. He was a member of St. Catherine of Alexandria Catholic Church in New Haven. He was a graduate of St. Xavier High School in Louisville and earned a bachelor's degree from Eastern Kentucky University. He worked at Advanced Vision Technology and nine years at Your Girl Friday printing.
He is survived by two sons, Bradley (Christy) Fairfax of Maryland and Zachary "Zack" Fairfax of New Haven; two brothers, Steve (Kathy) Fairfax of Boston, Mass., and Kenneth (Nyetta) Fairfax of Vashon, Wash.; two sisters, Kathleen (Mark) Lupker of North Dakota and Diana (Matt) German of Washington; a caregiver and wonderful friend, Lynn Fairfax of Bardstown; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In keeping with David William Fairfax's wishes, cremation was chosen. There will be no visitation or services.
William R. Rust Funeral Home in New Haven was in charge of arrangements.
