Debra Marie Dickerson, 56, wife of Joe Dickerson, passed away Thursday, Nov. 15, 2012.

She was born Aug. 29, 1956, in Cincinnati, the daughter of the late Harry and Alice Froendhoff of St. Bernard, Ohio. She was the sister of the late Darlene Chapman and Diane Schrenk of Cincinnati.

She was a former teacher at Elizabethtown Independent Schools, Fort Knox Community Schools and Dayton Independent Schools and a member of Severns Valley Baptist Church in Elizabethtown.

In addition to her husband, Joe, of 33 years, she is survived by three children, Joshua Dickerson of Eliza-bethtown and Jason (Johanna) Dickerson of Lawrenceburg and Alisa Dickerson of Louisville; two grandchildren, Haley and Allison Dickerson of Law-renceburg; two brothers-in-law, John Schrenk of Middleton, Ohio and Nathan Dickerson of Elizabethtown; a sister-in-law, Phyllis Dickerson of Elizabethtown; a nephew, Christopher Chapman of Cincinnati; and three nieces, Brenda (Ryan) Scalf of Cincinnati and Lynsie and Katelin Dickerson of Elizabethtown.

The funeral is at noon Tuesday, Nov. 20, at Severns Valley Baptist Church in Elizabethtown with burial following in Hillcrest Memorial Park in Lexington.

Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown and continues at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church.

Memorials contributions may be made to the , Norton's Cancer Center of Louisville or Severns Valley Baptist Church in Elizabethtown.
