Donald Ward Wolfe, 77, of Elizabethtown, died Thursday, June 20, 2013, at his residence.

He was a native of Hardin County and retired from Gates Rubber Company. He was a member of Severns Valley Baptist Church where he also was a member of the senior choir. He was a 1955 Rineyville High School graduate and a member of Lincoln Trail Antique Power Tractor Club. He drove a school bus for Hardin County Schools for 13 years. He was a man of God who loved his church, his family and all of his many friends.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Patricia Ann Smith Wolfe; his parents, Russell "Dutch" and Margaret Lyons Wolfe; and three brothers, Dick Wolfe, Jack Wolfe and Tommy Wolfe.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda Seagraves Wolfe; a son, Curtis Russell (Alma) Wolfe of Elizabethtown; two daughters, Angela Kay (Odell) Chambers of Elizabethtown and Becky (John) Meadors of Cecilia; two brothers, Bill Wolfe of Elizabethtown and Mike Wolfe of North Vernon, Ind.; two sisters, Janet (Darrell) Ratliff of Stoutsville, Ohio, and Kitty Williams of Wilmington, N.C.; eight grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

The funeral is at 11 a.m. Monday, June 24, at Severns Valley Baptist Church with pastors Bill Langley and Ray Hicks officiating. Burial follows in Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens.

Visitation is from noon to 8 p.m. Sunday at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown and continues at 9 a.m. Monday at the church.
