Dorothy Diane McCracken, 67, of Radcliff, passed away Saturday, May 18, 2013, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown.

She was preceded in death by her father, Cary E. "Buddy" McCracken.
Miss McCracken was a 1963 graduate of North Hardin High School and a graduate of Western Kentucky University and Ohio State University. She was retired from the Fort Knox School System where she worked as a librarian. Her memberships included a charter membership of Radcliff United Methodist Church and a membership of the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter No. 122 in Vine Grove. Some of her hobbies included reading, crocheting and genealogy.
Survivors include her mother, Johnnie McCracken of Radciff; one brother, Danny McCracken of Radcliff; two sisters, Karen Hart and her husband, Jack, of Radcliff, and Emma Lee Nahm and her husband, John, of Charlotte, N.C.; three nieces, nephews and a host of family and friends.
Miss McCracken's funeral service is at 11 a.m. Thursday at Radcliff United Methodist Church with the Rev. Kaye Nunn officiating. Burial follows in North Hardin Memorial Gardens in Radcliff.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and after 9 a.m. Thursday at Coffey & Chism Funeral Home in Vine Grove.
