Duane Francis Klug, 64, of Elizabethtown, passed away Sunday, Oct. 20, 2013, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville.

Mr. Klug retired from the U.S. Army as a major. He was founder of the youth soccer leagues in Radcliff and Vine Grove and he was an assistant coach for North Hardin High School Boys' Soccer Team for more than 18 years.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Klug.
Survivors include his loving wife of 33 years, Juliann Klug of Elizabethtown; three children, Megan Overholt and her husband, Jason, of Radcliff, Jay Tesar and his wife, Stephanie, of Lexington and Robin Greunke of Vine Grove; eight grandchildren, Tyler Klug, Jonas Overholt, Alexandria Tesar, Caroline Tesar, Erin Greunke, Jillian Greunke, Clay Greunke and Justin Greunke; four great-grandchildren, Kaylee, Cameron, Makenlee and Linden; and six siblings, Norma Boardman, Larry Klug, Brenda Linton, Kent Klug, Keith Klug and Chris Klug.
A memorial service for Mr. Klug is at 3 p.m. Friday, Nov. 1, at Coffey & Chism Funeral Home in Vine Grove.
Visitation begins at 12:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 1, at the funeral home.
