Edgar Dean "Corky" Willis, 70, of Elizabethtown, died Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2013, in Elizabethtown.

He was a native of Connersville, Ind., served in the U.S. Army and retired after 30 years managing Winn-Dixie. He was a Kentucky Colonel and a former member of the Elizabethtown Lions Club. He attended Vineyard Community Church. He was a loving and great father and friend to many.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Marjorie Redic Willis; and his grandparents who raised him, Sol and Lydia Willis.

He is survived by three daughters, Tara (Bob) Parker of Navarre, Fla., and Tami (Paul) Delaney and Tiffany (Ron) Ayers, all of Elizabethtown; and six grandchildren, Kaitlin, Kesleigh, Kayli, Shelbi, Riley and Reagan.

The funeral is at 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 23, at Grace Heartland Church with the Rev. David E. Nichols Jr. officiating. Burial, with military honors, follows in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery-Central in Radcliff.

Visitation is from 2:30 to 8 p.m. Sunday and continues at 9 a.m. Monday at the church.

Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown is in charge of arrangements.
