Elefreda Givan Moore, 78, of Princeton, formerly of Cadiz, died Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2012, at her home after a long illness.

She was born April 9, 1934, in Glendale. She was a homemaker and a member of the Christian faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John Hiram Givan and Lillie Aubrey Givan; her husband, Joseph Harold Moore; her brother, William Leroy Givan; and two sisters, Hattie Lenora Totman and Myrtle Viola Ezell.
Survivors include two stepdaughters, Adelia Ann Meadows of Elizabethtown and Jane Davis of Madi-son, Ala.; one brother, John Wesley Givan of Eliza-bethtown; three sisters, Martha Puckett and Virginia Ray, both of Louisville and Mary Lou (Whitney) Givan of Elizabethtown; six stepgrandchildren; 16 stepgreat-grandchildren; a special niece and caregiver, Richard and Paulette Mitchell of Princeton; and a number of nieces and nephews.
The funeral is noon CDT Thursday at King's Funeral Home in Cadiz with the Revs. John Mitchell and Jessie Cavness officiating.
Burial follows in Green Hill Me-morial Gardens in Hopkinsville.
Visitation is from 10 a.m. to noon CDT Thursday at the funeral home.
