Elizabeth McHatton Burn, 103, formerly of Louisville, died peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, Jan. 20, 2013, in Elizabethtown. She was a retired secretary at Fern Creek Elementary School and Bates Elementary School, the old-est living member of Beulah Presbyterian Church and a member of Fern Creek Woman's Club. She was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Richard W. Burn; a son, Richard A. Burn; and siblings Eugenia, Louis, and Charles McHatton. She is survived by her daughter, Martha Ann Burn, with whom she lived; two nieces, Barbara Stivers (Bruce) and Kittye Sullivan (Mark); and a nephew, James McHatton (Becky). Her funeral is 11a.m. Thursday at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road, in Louisville. Burial follows in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation is 2 to 7 p.m. Wednesday.
