Erdine Baxter, 94, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2012, at Hardin Memorial Hospital.

She was born in Butler County to the late Eustis and Letha Cannon Baucum. Her husband, Ray Bax-ter, died in 1973.
She was employed for 30 years at Belknap Blue-grass Hardware, Inc. and was a member of Harmony Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by three sisters, Polly Wright, Edna Menser and Margie Phelps; two brothers, Eustis Baucum and Troy Baucum; and a son-in-law, David Griggs.
Surviving are two daughters, Audrey Griggs of Princeton and June Hendricks (Richard) of Louisville; four grandchildren, Gary Griggs (Michelle) of Anacordes, Wash., Valerie Borgstrom (John) of Sapulpa, Okla., Eric Griggs (Jennifer "JJ") of Princeton, Christo-pher Brady (Deanna) of Louisville; and six great-grandchildren, Libby, Abby, Maggy and Cate Griggs and Nathan and David Brady; and a stepgreat-grandson, Ian Borgstrom.
The funeral is at 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 24, at O.D. White & Sons Funeral Home in Louisville with interment in Rosedale Cemetery in Dawson Springs.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
