Eunice Pearl "Doonie" Stewart Thompson Harris, 83, of Elizabethtown died Friday Feb. 7, 2014, at her residence.

She was a native LaRue County.
She was preceded in death by two husbands, Owen L. Thompson and Fred H. Harris; her parents, James Franklin and Sarah Mattie Spaulding Stewart.
She is survived by three daughters, Vivian Thompson and Tonya (Toro) Thompson-Sherman, all of Elizabethtown, and Constance (Eugene) Thompson-Cockrell of Radcliff; two sons, Robin O. (Deborah C.) Thompson of Vine Grove and Darren K. (Rosie) Thompson of Louisville; a sister, Mamaye Lee Best of Glendale; a brother, Stanley R. Stewart of Indianapolis; seven grandchildren, Leslie M. Thompson, Cedric R. Thompson, Damone A. Pettigrew, Surea A. Sherman, Eugene Tyren L. Cockrell III, Seth A. Sherman and Trenton A. Cockrell; her best friend, Debra Childers; and a special cousin, Alice Faye Crawford.
The funeral is at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 12, at Brown Funeral Home with Dr. B.T. Bishop, the Rev. John C. Glover and ministers Eugene Cockrell and Toro Sherman officiating. Burial follows in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery-Central in Radcliff.
Visitation begins at 9 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
