Gerald H. ""Jerry"" Pike, 45, of Brandenburg, passed away Sunday, May 5, 2013.

Mr. Pike was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was formerly a member of St. Brigid Catholic Church where he attended school. He was a 1985 graduate of Meade County High School.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents and several uncles.
Survivors include his wife, Paula Pike; six children, Hope Beam, Wyatt Pike, Luke Pike, Whitley Pike, Dyllan Desantie and Joseph Sershon; two granddaughters, Maxine Beam and Naomee Sershon; his parents, Henry and Laverne Pike; two brothers and three sisters, Keith Pike and his wife, Meg, Darlene Staples and her husband, Jamie, Janice Kessinger and her husband, Tim, Randy Pike and Sheila Brooks and her husband, Derek; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
A Mass of Christian burial for Mr. Pike is at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 9, at St. Brigid Catholic Church in Vine Grove with the Rev. Daniel Lincoln officiating. Burial, with military honors, follows in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery-Central in Radcliff.
Visitation is from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and continues at 9 a.m. Thursday at Coffey & Chism Funeral Home in Vine Grove. A prayer service is at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
