Harry F. Hatfield, 76, of Elizabethtown, passed away Monday, March 17, 2014, at Hardin Memorial Hospital.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and worked and retired from L&N Railroad.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dude and Ruby Hatfield.

He is survived by two sons, Skipper (Rita) Hatfield and Chris (Beth) Ross; three daughters, Paulette (George) Miller, Melissa Meador and Jacque Wade; nine grandchildren, Megan, Casey, Corey, Amber, David, Jacob, Nikki, Ashton and Andy; one great-grandchild, Aiden; one brother, Donnie (Barbara) Hatfield; and one sister, Naomi (Tommy) Rosel.

A graveside service is at 1 p.m. Friday, March 21, at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery-Central in Radcliff with Roger McCurry officiating.

Visitation is from 10 a.m. to noon Friday at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown.

Expressions of sympathy can be made to Hosparus of Central Kentucky, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
