James Floyd Jefferson, 84, of Elizabethtown, died Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2013, at Jefferson Place.

He was a native of Bowling Green and a graduate of UK College of Pharmacy. He was an owner and a pharmacist with Boyd Drugs, Jeff's Prescription Shop and E'town Surgical Supply.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Edna Dedmon Jefferson; a sister, Mazelle Allen; and a brother, Rolla Jefferson.
He is survived by his wife, Janice Lee Roehler Jef-ferson; a son, Jim (Amy) Jefferson of Louisville; three daughters, Debbie Grubbs of Goshen, Judy (Bill) Regan of Nashville, Tenn., and Jane (Ollie) Jordan of Richmond; two stepsons, Chris (D. Dee) Shaw of Elizabethtown and Nathan Shaw of Henderson, Nev.; eight grandchildren, Amy, Morgan, Lydia, Taylor, Jackson, Lilly, Martin and Michelle; and two great-grandchildren, Lauren and Anna.
The funeral is at 11 a.m. EST Friday, March 1, at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown with Dr. Ra-chel Marshall officiating. A graveside service is at 1 p.m. EST Friday at Fairview Cemetery in Bowling Green.
Visitation is from 4:30 to 8 p.m. EST Thursday and continues at 9 a.m. EST Friday at the funeral home.
