James M. "Jim" Luttrell, 70, of Elizabethtown, passed away Monday, Aug. 6, 2018, at Robley Rex VA Medical Center in Louisville.

Mr. Luttrell was a veteran of the Vietnam War having served in the U.S. Marine Corps.

Survivors include his loving wife of 47 years, Jolly Luttrell of Elizabethtown; two sons, James Ray Luttrell and Jack Thomas Luttrell, both of Elizabethtown; a granddaughter, Keri Johnson of Elizabethtown; and a great-granddaughter, Kennedy Raylyn Johnson.

The funeral for Mr. Luttrell is at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 9, in the chapel of Chism Family Funeral Home in Vine Grove. Burial with military honors follow in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery-Central in Radcliff.

Visitation is from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
