James Mack Norris, 95, of Vine Grove, passed away Thursday, Nov. 28, 2013, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown.

Mr. Norris was a member of St. Brigid Catholic Church in Vine Grove and retired from AAFES after 38 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lucita Norris; one brother, Thomas Robert Norris; and one sister, Mary Elsie Schneider.
Survivors include one stepson, Bill Wallace of Red Oak, Texas; two stepgrandsons, Mike Wallace and David Moore, both of Red Oak; two brothers, Roy Anthony Norris Jr. of Vine Grove and Charles Leo Norris of Lanesville, Ind.; two sisters, Helen Marie Froman of Radcliff and Frances Margie Lambert-Spink of Vine Grove; a special daughter-in-law, Martina Wallace; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
A Mass of Christian burial for Mr. Norris is at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 3, at St. Brigid Catholic Church in Vine Grove with the Rev. Daniel Lincoln officiating. Burial follows in St. Brigid Cemetery in Vine Grove.
Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday and continues at 9 a.m. Tuesday at Coffey & Chism Funeral Home in Vine Grove. A prayer service is at 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
