Jeannine Stewart Harlow, 85, of Glendale passed away Monday, Feb. 10, 2014, at her home.

""On this date, Feb. 10, 2014, Jeannine was transferred to the 'Church Triumphant' where she is safe in the arms of Jesus.""

She was a native of Glasgow in Barren County and the daughter of Jack and Bessie Mae Bailey Stewart. She was a graduate of Temple Hill High School and attended Trevecca Nazarene College. She was a devout Christian and faithful member of Trinity Wesleyan Church, where she served on the church board, taught Sunday school and was the church pianist for more than 60 years.

She was married to William Garland Harlow, owner of the Hardin County Hatchery. They worked together in their business more than 60 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Garland Harlow; two grandsons, Robbie Dean Cardin and Johnathan Lee Priddy; one brother, Manuel Stewart; and one sister, Jackie Wishart.

She is survived by two daughters, Max Helen Brown and Patricia Ann Cardin and one son, Douglas Stewart Harlow, all of Glendale; five grandchildren, Michael Priddy, Shawn Priddy, Tommy Garza, Brian Cardin and Stephen Ballard; one brother, Frank (Joann) Stewart of Silver Springs, Md.; a sister, Nell Doris Stewart of Elizabethtown; a sister-in-law, Kathy Stewart of Louisville; seven great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

The funeral is at 11 a.m. Friday at Trinity Wesleyan Church with the Rev. Raleigh Bostic officiating. Burial follows in Sonora Cemetery.

Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown and continues at 10 a.m. Friday at the church.
